We spent a few peaceful nights in Gold Bar, Washington and absolutely loved it. Our cabin sat right next to the Skykomish River with stunning views of the Cascade Mountains all around us.

Most of our time was spent in the hot tub, strolling along the river and just soaking in the peacefulness. We also ventured out to explore Wallace Falls State Park, where we hiked to the lower falls, the trail was still quite challenging for Felix especially in pouring rain but he pushed through like a champ!

We really loved this little corner of Washington state it felt like a world away from Seattle.
